Baby News!!

Okay so sorry it's been awhile! I just wanted to update everyone on our family! Tyler is working hard at work everyday and is finished with college for this semester. He finished out strong and did a great job in all of his classes! I'm so proud of him. I am done with college classes as we know it! I finished my semester out with a 4.0 and passes a huge test that teachers had to take. It's called the Praxis and I passed with flying colors! I was so happy to get the news. All I have left to do is student teach next fall and I'll graduate! No more school, well until I go back to get my Masters! Anyways, I'm excited for the holidays and seeing family and friends that we don't get to see often. Baby Gracie is doing great! She is moving a lot everyday and likes to wake me in the night to say hello! Doctor visits are going great, but getting old... we go every two week and here in awhile we'll be going once a week. Awe... the joys of being pregnant. No sleep, always going to the bathroom because someone is using my bladder as their first squeeze toy, and seeing the doctor all the time. At least the end is near. I'll be 32 weeks on Christmas Eve and couldn't be happier!

Max is doing great! With sniffing every new baby thing that comes into our house and listening to her move in my tummy he stays pretty busy. He knows something is about to change... I can see in his eyes. He's been so fun to watch in the snow and brings joy to our lives everyday with his puppy eyes, little cries-to let us know he's in the room and needs attention, and of course his smells. Our house will soon be filled with lots of smells-Tyler says so!

Tyler and I are getting the nursery ready. It's pretty much done but we're waiting for our crib and some other furniture to add to the room. Once we get the furniture in, we'll decorate and put the last few touches. We'll need to hurry though... it's getting close! My due date is Feb. 17th. My grandmothers birthday is the 5th, and mine is the 15th so we'll see who gets lucky! Our family members are very excited to meet Grace, especially my little nieces and nephew. Ethan is 7 and in first grade and every time I call his mom he thinks I'm having the baby or he'll just ask periodically when I see him. He makes me smile. Kaylee who is 11 can't wait to babysit, and I'm also excited for that as well!!! I'll be using her more than she knows! Alexis who is 4 told me the other day, "I will be holding that baby when she comes out! And when she cries, I'll tell her not to worry, I got you baby!" Again, a smile from ear to ear! Then Shayla who is 3 enjoys walking around her house pretending to have a baby in her tummy like Aunt Elizabeth. Then when she sees me, she'll say, "Grace in your tummy?" Oh, Gracie... you have a lot of cousins waiting for you so you better make me proud! Then of course we have Kylie who is still too young to understand, but her and Grace will be a year apart so this will be fun! And then you have sisters who need to hold a baby to take their baby cravings away and grandparents who can't wait to hold and watch their grand babies grow up! Plus, one very excited and lucky great aunt Lora who has never been home when one of her nieces has been pregnant. She is also excited... I think she's more excited to babysit her than meeting her... right Lora???? Just kidding! Then of course, Tyler and I have extremely excited great grandparents who can't wait. I've heard many times from all of them, "Oh I can't wait to hold this little one!" I hope she brings everyone as much joy as she has Tyler and I (that is being in the womb... although I could use a break from her kicking).

Well, the time is getting closer for her to come. I'll keep you posted and please if you live in town come visit us at the hospital or at our house! We would love to introduce you to Grace! Here are some pictures for you enjoyment!

We love you all,
Tyler and Elizabeth

We're Havin a BABY!

Okay, so here is the first look at baby Donnell. Inside the black circle there is a smaller circle-which would be the baby at 7 weeks. When Tyler and I saw this for the first time, we cried and before the nurse took the picture-I told our baby to smile big for the camera! (That's why it says "smile!")

Although, I am almost 16 weeks-I thought I would post this picture for everyone to see. Our next doctor's appointment is on Monday. This visit is just a blood work and OBGYN stuff visit. I don't think they will do a sonogram that day-but we might get lucky! We should be able to find out what we're having at the beginning of October, which will be extremely exciting! I am over my morning sickness battle-THANK GOD! I've just been tired but other than that, everything is going great! I haven't even gained a pound yet! I hope to keep it this way for a while! :) I want to say Thank You to everyone who has called to check up on me and ask how I'm doing... it's been good to hear your encouraging voices.

So, here is some other information on Tyler and I. Tyler is working and going to school full time. I am working part time and going to school full time, so we are both extremely busy and tired! It's been a little stressful having to adjust to the different schedule now, with both of us having to share the computer and read our textbooks-we hardly have time to eat together! Although, it seems tough now, it will be very rewarding in the end. I have this semester left of classes, then I'm taking off a semester and staying home with the baby-which I'm very excited about! After, the spring and summer, I will student teach in the fall and then I graduate!!!!!!! Tyler still has maybe three years left of school, but he is going to take it slow because of the baby! I'm just proud of him for going back to school to get his BA in Business. He's makes me a proud wife to call him my husband!

Max is doing great! He definitely knows that there is something in my belly. He lays his head on my tummy and raises his ears (like he hears something inside of me). He has also enjoyed sniffing all the fun baby stuff that comes home with us. He is still getting spoiled, which will probably last a lifetime! :)

Well, I better go! I just thought I would update everyone to what is going on in our busy but exciting life! We are all excited for this baby to get here, so we'll keep you updated..... I promise you Aunt Lora (and everyone else)!

We love you guys, Tyler, Elizabeth, Max and Baby Donnell

New Picture

Here is a new picture of us. This was taken at a Valentines Dinner at our church.

Baby Kylie Jade and MAX

Okay so here are some pictures I took of our newest neice, Kylie Jade Beach. She is too cute in these so I thought I would share. I also wanted to share some of our baby pictures of MAX with you all. You will see how big he is now. He weights 80 pounds!

Okay here we go....

I guess we'll try this blog thing. We have been longing for a way to keep in contact with not only our friends but also our family so here we go! I guess we'll start with an update. I have been going to college full time at the University of Central Missouri and will be done with my double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in May of 2008. It's almost here. I am also working part time at our Church-Crown Pointe Church. I am doing a year long intern with our Children's Pastor. I am her assistant so I am in charge of the making the PreK curriculum and helping her out in any way I can. She is having a baby in June, so she will definitely be using me. My last college final for this semester is on Thursday! Thank You Jesus! Tyler is still working at Bob Allen Ford and enjoys it only because it pays the bills. He is starting college classes in the fall. Pray for him because he will be going full time (taking classes on-line) and working full time. As most of you know, Tyler already has his Associates in Applied Science but because it's mostly automotive classes some of them won't transfer, so he is 11 classes away from an Associates in Arts then he can start his Bachelors degree. He enjoys cars, but wants to find a better paying job with more respect. As all of you know, it's hard to think about job change when you have bills to pay, but we're doing great!

We recently got our house back to ourselves. Tyler's sister and her husband lived with us for about 8 months and it was getting tough on all of us. They finally found a place of their own and are doing great. Although we enjoy having our house to ourselves, we sure do miss the little one- Kylie. We get to see her occasionally when we babysit her while mom and dad are at work. She's the cutest thing! I'll put some pictures up so you guys can see her.

We have also been busy fixing up our house, organizing the garage, and spare bedroom and office, and transforming our basement to the Mustang Lounge. This is our favorite thing to do, besides play with our dog MAX! He is such a goober! He loves to chew on his toys and pretend he's the king of our neighborhood. He will walk the fence and bark at any strange human, stick, toy, piece of grass, shadow, and of course the next door neighbor dogs. He lets them know that he owns this place (meaning the poop filled back yard and his baby pool to relax in). Who would even want that... I don't know?

Life is good and God is good. He has blessed us beyond all measures even through the good and the bad times of 2006-2007. We are getting ready to celebrate our two year anniversary and we are going strong! Tyler is my strength that keeps me laughing through the thick and thin. I love you baby!

We miss all of our family members and would love to see you all soon sometime! I know lets all go to Cozumel, Mexico!!! Yeah right, maybe if we win the lottery! We love you!
